Tradewinds were asked to attend an emergency callout to repair a leak on circuit 1 of the main air conditioning chiller. The leak was quickly identified and repaired by replacing the 2 service shutoff valves on the compressor. The glands on other valves were also leaking and this was because they had not been replaced when the system was retrofitted from R22. All leaks were repaired and the system was pressure tested overnight. The following day, the pressure test was confirmed and witnessed by the client. The system was the evacuated to 1.6 Torr and recharged with new refrigerant.
