We are delighted to introduce our newest member of the Tradewinds Engineering  Team.

Hannah Edwards is a specialist Refrigeration engineering, she has 29 years of experience in the industry. She has completed multiple qualifications including a 4 year apprenticeship and is qualified in City & Guilds F-gas 2079 level 2. Hannah is an experienced trainer herself training and guiding young apprentices to ensure they feel confident to work on their own.

She has been working on one of our exciting projects, designing a range of FCU’s. Part of her remit is to ensure that we are using the best materials, resulting in a high quality design and development of our FCUs. Our range will include TFC6 – TFC36. Our units are thoroughly quality checked to ensure they are high quality, functional, efficient and pass all the safety regulation criteria. Hannah has tested multiple scenarios to ensure the units are low risk in all applications. She has also been working on the manuals that will help everyone, (whether or not you have refrigeration experience/ knowledge or not) understand how these units work and what to do if experiencing difficulties offshore.

Since Hannah joined us at the beginning of January, she has completed her BOSIET Training (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)  and is booked onto the STCW ( Safety Training Course that is mandatory to transport via boat) Giving her the opportunity to work on our multiple offshore contracts.

We are really pleased to have her on the team, she has already proved her worth and enthusiasm. She has thrown herself into the role.
