It’s been an exciting month for Tradewinds with new training courses being introduced and new projects coming up

The design team are currently working on a Front End Engineering Design – FEED Study for a large client, this scope of work is to initiate a full review of the existing issues with the AHUs on their rig. The study was raised to review the pressure differential issues in the module and provide information and expected deliverables to allow HVAC specialist vendors to present viable solutions to solve these issues.

We have recently introduced a new 2 Day HVAC Design Course.

Day 1 covers refrigeration system principles

Day 2 looks at ventilation systems, sizing ductwork and verifying airflow calculations.

This course is an introduction to HVAC design principles and gives you sufficient knowledge to work with your contractors and understand their recommendations.

The course is specifically for project engineers, lead mechanical engineers, rotating equipment engineers and managers who are directly involved in overseeing the design and engineering phase of a HVAC project.

These systems can be found on Oil & Gas platforms, supply vessels, FPSO’s, Jackups and Drillships.

This training can be delivered at our training school in the South West of England or delivered at your premises anywhere in the UK. We can also offer discounted rates on group bookings.

If you would like us to send you a flyer on the course or would like to discuss your training needs in more detail, then please don’t hesitate to email [email protected] or call us on 01823 481416.
